BLASTING AND COATING SURFACES
Abrasive blasting uses various materials to strip imperfections, paint, rust and other contaminants from a surface. It’s an important step in surface coating preparation, as it cleans a substrate and creates a surface that will hold a protective coating.
- DRY ABRASIVE BLASTING
- WET ABRASIVE BLASTING
SATBLAST VAPOUR BLASTING SYSTEM
When working with wet abrasive material, our SATBLAST VAPOUR BLASTING SYSTEM is most effective. Abrasive material and water are mixed in a pressurized blasting pot to produce a lasting effect. Each blast particle is encased in water, which adds weight to the Medium as a result of the water. The blast media’s effect on the substrate is increased as a result of this. This results in smoother material removal, as well as the usage of fewer media.
- The water helps to decrease splashback while also trapping the dust that is created.
- It is possible to reduce dust by roughly 90 per cent with the SATBLAST VAPOUR BLASTING SYSTEM.
- Savings on sonic blast media
- When compared to wet Blasting, dry Blasting uses less water
- Keeping the explosion area as little as possible is essential.
The SATBLAST VAPOUR BLASTING SYSTEM
Works by combining water and abrasive in the blast tank to create a vapour cloud. This is referred to as “vapour blasting” in certain circles. By injecting water into the machine, you are significantly boosting the mass and energy it produces while also reducing dust. Consider the difference between tossing a handful of dry sand and tossing a handful of wet sand: which one will have a more significant effect on the target? Not only will the wet sand strike the target with more force, but it will also not dissolve and disperse into a cloud of dust, as would the dry sand. Dustless Blasting is based on a fundamental idea, and it is explained below.

Faster
The Dustless Blaster is capable of stripping an automobile in less than 2 hours.
The need for costly and time
Consuming confinement is reduced since it is not necessary to put it up in the majority of circumstances
Lower Abrasive Consumption
Requires fewer media to do the same amount of work.
Abrasive Flexibility
The ability to utilize almost any abrasive that sinks in water are provided.
No Warping
Because water reduces friction, it will not warp thin metal in the same way as sandblasting would.
Employees in the immediate vicinity are not impacted
Don’t forfeit productivity since other employees may work in the immediate vicinity undisturbed.
